My foundational education & experience

After earning my B.A. in Child and Family Studies from Portland State University in 2010, I worked as a Survivor Advocate at Bradley Angle, a domestic violence agency, beginning my work and training in trauma-informed care.

I earned my M.A. in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from the Graduate School of Education and Counseling at Lewis and Clark College in 2017. My graduate studies were delivered through a social justice framework, which strengthened the foundation for my commitment to work from and embody an anti-oppressive stance.

My clinical training included a year-long rotation at both the Lewis and Clark Community Counseling Center and the NICH Program at OHSU.

I went on to work with the Institute of Development and Disability at OHSU until 2019, where I practiced in-home family therapy with children experiencing complex health conditions and supported their families in navigating systemic barriers to their children’s health.
